Covid-19 Visiting Guidelines

In order to keep yourself and our staff safe from Covid 19 , we have introduced the following precautions at the Health Matters Practice :

We have limited our staff to have only the essential workers on site.

All bookings will be 60 min in order to allow for cleaning time.

We ask patients to please only arrive at the time of appointment and not  earlier.

The waiting room will be sparsely furnished, encouraging you not to touch multiple surfaces.

Only the patient should come into the rooms unless it is an adult accompanying a minor.

Hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance.

Masks are mandatory and will be provided if needed ( to buy for R20).

Our rooms will be clean; disinfected; and safe.

Our staff will at all times be wearing protective gear.

Please no walk ins allowed.

In summary, the patient arrives at the allocated time, by appointment only, alone, and goes straight into the consultation with the practitioner, and leaves straight after the consultation. This minimizes contact with other patients, staff, and surfaces.

We believe that if we all cooperate, then the practice will be a safe place for all of us and you can feel comfortable visiting us.

We want to take care of your non-covid medical needs and chronic conditions, and encourage you to visit the practice, following these instructions.

If you have any symptoms of a respiratory nature (sore throat, coughing, fevers) then please inform our secretary when you make the appointment.
